TALLEY Picatinny Base for Kimber
LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOY SCOPE MOUNTS The one-piece construction of the Talley Lightweight Alloy Scope Mount is unique. The rigid design has no joint between the scope and the rifle. The Talley Lightweight unitized design eliminates the possibility of an “”out of alignment”” interface or “”loose connection”” between the ring and base of traditional two-piece designs. Ultimately this provides more strength and durability than rival steel rings and bases but doing it with a lighter overall weight. By extruding the 7000 series alloy known for its durability and then precision CNC machining the mount to its final design we can provide you with the strongest, lightest mount system on the market
This mount is made specifically for the Kimber 84 action.
These bases sit at approximately 0.35″ high.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The cross slots are also machined the full width of the mount and gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs maintaining tolerances of +/-.002″.
After machining; the mounts are tumbled and sand blasted. The aluminum mounts are Type III hard coat anodized for long lasting durability. The steel rails are Mil Spec parkerized for a durable rust resistant finish.
