HENRY Mini Bolt Youth Rimfire
We fitted the Henry Mini Bolt 22 with Williams Fire Sights, comprised of an illuminated two green dot adjustable rear sight and contrasting red front sight. The sights are fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The manually operated safety offers the opportunity to carry the gun safely when cocked and to load and unload with peace of mind. Overall length is 30 1/4″, barrel length is 16 1/4″ and length of pull is 11 1/2″. It weighs just 3.25 pounds, perfect for a youngster’s small stature. We did not skimp on the styling. The stainless steel elements contrast dramatically with the black stock and illuminated sights. Modern features are offset by classic styling, including wraparound checkering, a pistol grip and a European style bolt handle.
We have no doubt a Henry Mini Bolt Youth .22 is the perfect rifle for introducing youngsters to shooting and hunting. Of course, we’re just a little biased. So go ahead and talk to the knowledgeable folks on the USA Olympic Shooting Team. They were so impressed by its kid-friendly performance and bull’s eye-punching accuracy, they named our Mini Bolt the Official Youth Rifle of their program.
To maximize safety we outfitted the Mini Bolt with a manually operated safety switch that, when set, prevents the gun from firing even when cocked. The beavertail forearm includes wraparound checkering that makes it easy for young hands to grip. And we fitted the stainless steel barrel with high-visibility Williams Fire Sights using two bright green fiber-optic dots on the adjustable rear sight and one red dot for the front bead so young eyes can get on target easily even in low-light conditions.
The great looks are the only thing we didn’t downsize. The stainless steel elements contrast dramatically with the black or colorful Muddy Girl stock and illuminated sights.
